The Old Hotel - Printers Devil

Positive: We stayed at the Old Hotel with our friends for our wedding in York. It’s only around 500m from the registry office and around the same again into the centre of York. The space was so much bigger than shown on the photographs and was plenty for 6 adults and 2 children and a baby. The lay out was perfect having two large bedrooms with en-suites and the two smaller doubles with a shared bathroom. It was clean and tidy upon arrival and had everything we needed for our stay. The management company were quick to respond via email / phone and check in/out was seamless. Negative: Only downside was the largest bedrooms en-suite there was an issue with the shower controls not properly secured to the wall so there a slight mishap with the groom being soaked in water. Other than that issue it was exactly as photographed and described and we would recommend others to stay here.

Comfortable spacious and convenient accommodation for visiting York. Positive: We wanted an apartment capable of accommodating a family get together with their own facilities and a spacious communal area. This fitted the bill well well. The apartment is well equipped, has a quality feel and was warm and cosy. The city centre is a short Uber ride away or a reasonably healthy walk. Negative: There’s nothing to dislike about the property but if you don’t like, or can’t cope with, lots of stairs this should be borne in mind.

Amazing property, clean, comfortable and well located. Definitely recommend. Positive: The property was fantastic. Well equipped and very clean. The beds were so comfortable and the hosts were very informative. I would definitely recommend and hope to stay again in the future. Negative: Nothing. It was fab.

Positive: Lots of space and bathrooms for the guests. Nice to have a seperate upstairs as well. Negative: Charging for parking I think is a bit steep when you pay for the apartment it should be included. Also only space for one car which when it sleeps a lot more this could be an issue. We were lucky to be able to get 2 spaces but guessing in busier periods this will not happen.
