The Old Hotel - Lady Peckett

Lovely Apartment great location and enjoyable holiday. Positive: We stayed in Lady Peckett 2 bedroom apartment, and what a lovely place to stay.Very modern,very clean and tv's in every room.Well equipped modern kitchen diner, good sized lounge, lovely bathroom with a good power showerTwo good sized bedrooms plenty of hanging space and very comfy beds .Apartment was very warm. Also car parking space at the back of apartments.Also great location No 2 bus stop nearby and 10minute ride into York. Negative: There was nothing to dislike about the apartment. Would certainly recommend to family and friends.

Highly recommend this apartment. Excellent! Positive: Was impressed with how spacious and modern it was. It was nice to have the bedrooms upstairs. They were both spacious. Having an upstairs and downstairs toilet was very useful. The kitchen was lovely and had everything we needed including utensils. The whole place was very clean and comfortable. Large smart tvs in every room including kitchen together with instructions. The location was very good. Only half a mile to the city centre. We had regular texts updates and felt we could have had support instantly if we needed it. Negative: Downstairs toilet was a little awkward due do the slanting wall. Was quite tricky using the elec hob. When we used the biggest pan to cook it didn't work and took us awhile to realise you needed the correct size for it to work. We've never used an elec hob so would have been nice for it to be noted in the instructions checklist. Our 4 year old slipped in the shower and hurt himself. It would be beneficial to have a shower mat there to prevent anyone from slipping. If it happened to someone elderly it could've resulted in a hospital visit.

Positive: Clean property. Fairly convenient to town. Restaurant and food market very close. Washer/dryer available. Host was quick to respond. Spacious apartment. Reasonably priced. Negative: 10:00 am early checkout and not enough coffee. USB plugs would be nice addition to the property.

Amazing property, clean, comfortable and well located. Definitely recommend. Positive: The property was fantastic. Well equipped and very clean. The beds were so comfortable and the hosts were very informative. I would definitely recommend and hope to stay again in the future. Negative: Nothing. It was fab.

Nice place to stay, lovely decor and very clean I would stay again as long as the locks on windows are repaired. Positive: Good location, easy access, very clean. Negative: Bedroom windows did not lock which is a danger for children I did report this to the manager who said it will be looked at but due to the window issue me and my 9 year old son shared a bedroom.
