The Old Hotel - Mad Alice

Positive: Having somewhere to relax after a day walking round York, much better than a hotel room.

Mad Alice apartment was good value and a great location for a weekend stay in the great City of York. Would recommend an Positive: The Old Hotel apartment ‘Mad Alice’ was very good with everything we needed for our weekend stay. We especially liked the outside seating area and the on-site parking was convenient. Great base for a weekend stay. Negative: No complaints

Positive: The property was a nice size for two of us with a large kitchen diner, lounge bedroom and shower room and a patio so we could sit outside if we wanted. It was well equipped with everything we needed for the stay. It was nicely decorated. We were told about how to get the keys and the policies relating to the property by e mail and text but when I asked a question it wasn’t answered. That did not affect our stay however. There was a pub nearby and a small shop if you needed anything. We could walk into the City very easily, it’s just one straight road. Negative: We were downstairs and noticed a lot of noise when people were on the stairs directly above us, however there was no noise once people were upstairs in their apartments. When I was in the shower I noticed dust above the door and some cobwebs above the bathroom door. However the property at ground level was very clean.

Excellent stay will be returning 100% Positive: Brilliant location ten minute walk in to York apartment was clean and comfy. Bed was a dream to sleep in!! Negative: Nothing.
