Positive: Location and outdoor sitting area
Negative: The heating wasn't adjustable and a bit too warm

Highly recommend such a lovely area.
Positive: The property was spacious, exceptionally clean and warm.
It had everything we needed for our two night stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Negative: It needed a handrail fitting outside as the steps were very steep for young children and elderly clients.

A beautiful property, but parking & host call-out charges felt sneaky. Wouldn't go back :(
Positive: The property was beautiful and spacious.
Negative: I didn't notice the tiny $ sign on the parking icon, and only found out after we had booked that the car parking, (which was on their own private land), was an extra £13.50 per night! It would have been better if they just included that extra in the night rate. We had to contact the hosts re a heating issue and they threatened a £100 call-out charge. The duvet and mattress were both covered in various stains, which was revolting. There were no shelves, wardrobes or drawers in my room or bathroom, just 4 hangers on coat hooks. The road at the front looks quiet, but it's actually a cut-through for traffic and is quite busy (and noisy). Take ear-plugs for the front room!

A spacious, well-equipped apartment, with parking and in a convenient location
Positive: The car parking space was a great bonus ( costs extra but good value). The apartment itself was spacious, with three double bedrooms, and everything was clean and well maintained (aside from the minor wear and tear you’d expect from a well-used holiday rental). TVs were provided in all bedrooms as well as the living room. The kitchen was well equipped with good-quality appliances—no corners cut there. There’s also outdoor space, which we didn’t use, but it would be ideal in warmer weather. The town is around a 15-minute walk away for us (though we do walk quite quickly).
Negative: There was a mix-up with the keys on arrival, and it took around 15 minutes to get through to someone after calling and messaging. It turned out the wrong key had been left in the box, but this was quickly resolved once contact was made and we were given the code for the other key box as they had been accidently switched. They apologised, and while it didn’t affect our stay or put us off returning, it would have been better if it was easier to reach someone.
